About
Practitioners, not gurus.
EmpowHER AI is co-founded by Taylor Gailey and Brianna Wilson. Two women who actually ship AI for a living, building a community for the women who need it most: founders, operators, and leaders running real businesses on real teams with real budgets.
Why we built this
We kept watching the same thing happen. Brilliant women - women running companies, women leading teams, women trying to grow without burning out - kept getting talked over in AI rooms, sold $2,000 courses by guys in Lambos, or told they should “just hire a developer.”
Meanwhile, AI is the single biggest leverage tool to come along in our lifetimes. The women who learn to use it well are going to run circles around the ones who do not. We wanted a room where that learning could actually happen, taught by people who do this work for a living, in a tone that does not make anyone feel small.
Meet the founders
Taylor Gailey
I co-founded Outport AI, a boutique consulting firm based in Ontario, Canada. Through Outport I work with Fortune 500 leaders in finance, payments, marketing, defense, and restaurants/QSR. I train executive teams, build AI governance frameworks, evaluate AI vendors, and ship automation systems. Every week I am doing the work for people paying real money.
That matters because almost nobody teaching AI online is actually doing the work. I started EmpowHER AI to give women a place to learn from someone who is in the trenches, not someone who is selling a course about the trenches.
Brianna Wilson
I have been building and selling codebases. I know what it takes to ship something a real business will actually pay for, and I know how much of the AI conversation right now is theater versus substance.
I joined EmpowHER AI because the women founders I meet are sharp, scrappy, and stuck. Not because they cannot learn this - because nobody is showing them what to actually build, which tools are worth buying, and how to get from idea to running workflow without losing a weekend to YouTube tutorials. My job here is to keep the technical side honest and to educate women on what AI can really do for their business.
What we believe
- AI is a practitioner's skill. You learn it by doing the reps, not by collecting certificates.
- Most AI content online is hype. A lot of it is wrong. Some of it is actively dangerous for your career or your company.
- The best AI community for women is run by women who are doing the work, not selling a course about the work.
- Free tiers should be actually useful. Paid tiers should be worth it. No tricks.
- Founders deserve practical help, not motivational content.
What we do not do
- We do not sell you a “12-week transformation” with a countdown timer.
- We do not tell you AI will replace your job tomorrow.
- We do not tell you AI will save your job tomorrow.
- We do not use the word “unlock” unironically.
The voice
Easy going. Honest. A little bit dry. We are here to help you get good at this without making you feel small. If you want a guru, you will hate us. If you want practitioners having a good time, welcome.
